Our collaboration with Forward Through Ferguson (FTF) was grounded in the weight of a legacy. Born from the Ferguson Commission's mandate following the killing of Michael Brown, Jr., FTF stands as a beacon for racial equity and systems change in the St. Louis region. In supporting their mission, our role was to ensure their visual identity and communications reflected both the urgency of their work and the dignity of the communities they serve.
We delivered a standardized logo and design system—tools that do more than unify a brand; they anchor a movement. These elements were intentionally crafted to be bold yet accessible, rooted in clarity and cohesion, ensuring that FTF's messaging is unmistakable, memorable, and consistent across platforms.
To amplify the reach and resonance of FTF’s vision, we implemented this system across multiple key deliverables:
A launch video that serves as a visual manifesto—telling FTF’s story with emotional depth and narrative clarity, inviting viewers into the work of transformation.
A sponsorship packet that communicates not just asks, but alignment—framing support as an investment in systemic equity and sustainable change.
A digital and print invitation that transforms a simple call to action into a gesture of inclusion, solidarity, and momentum.
Together, these assets not only elevate the FTF brand—they operationalize it. They support FTF’s ability to mobilize accountable bodies, engage stakeholders, and build community power. In a region still grappling with the demands of justice ten years after Ferguson became a national touchstone, clarity of message and strength of presence are not luxuries. They are necessities.
These deliverables were created not just for visibility, but for impact—so that Forward Through Ferguson can continue doing the hard, transformative work of building a St. Louis where racial equity is not the exception, but the norm.
